Charles Traylor, Architect, NCARB, AIA, is the CEO and Founder of Dallas, Texas based Archline.com, LLC. Mr. Traylor practiced as an architect of record for 18 years before launching Archline CAD Services, Ltd. in 1998, which later became Archline.com, LLC. Mr. Traylor has led his enterprise throughout at the leading edges of ever emerging and accelerating technology. In the early years, managing the operations of Archline, Mr. Traylor personally produced all of the construction documents for a limited number of architects just in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. The workload quickly grew to a volume larger than he could produce all alone, and he began adding independent contractors, first just in and around Dallas, and then quickly expanding to cities around Texas and eventually throughout the US. He also expanded his following of architect clients in a like manner to cities around Texas and soon he was working for architectural firms all over the country. The Archline business model was constrained by ever tightening rates of compensation from architect clients and ever increasing costs for labor until reaching a tipping point in 2005, when Archline’s first international team was brought aboard, utilizing contractors at rates of compensation much lower than US resources were charging. Eventually Mr. Traylor led Archline into working with CAD and BIM contractors in many countries and several continents. Today, Archline is a worldwide area network of architects and engineers who collaborate to provide professional services, especially construction documents, exclusively to other architects and engineers from one end of the US to the other. Archline has completed over 1,000 projects for over 150 firms in over half the States in the United States and overseas, working in both Imperial and metric measure and several languages

Archline was founded by Charles Traylor, Architect, NCARB, AIA, CEO and Founder, in 1998. He recognized a gap in the industry: a lack of dependable, affordable, and technically accurate production support for busy firms. There were no competitors. No one offered a scalable work product by architects and engineers, licensed in their respective jurisdictions. The smallest to the largest, the simplest to the most complex projects. Anywhere.
